Founder and President

I was born in Marabella, in the island of Trinidad and attended Pleasantville Government School. After leaving high school, I attended Hodge Welding School and thus began my career as a Welder. Having a keen interest in arts and culture, I started drumming at the age of 16 and was a member of Arawaks Dance Troupe, Southern Dance Company, and have worked with many other established artistes and groups in the field. I was also a member of "ZOZO Valiants Sports & Cultural Club". In 1973, I migrated to the United States of America to work as a Welder at the age of 19 and have since traveled to many other countries.

I was called to the Lord's service many years later and my journey has since changed with my priorities taking a different course. I now preach the Word of God and try to do good wherever I go.

Visiting Ghana for the first time, my eyes were opened to the hardship and need for assistance. I was truly moved by the overwhelming desire of the young people to acquire an education since it was not for free. On my return to Ghana the following year, I observed the need for the basic necessities of life, which many take for granted. Realizing that there must be something I could do, I initiated a building project in the Village of Gowenu, and thus began "Loving Hands of Hope". It is my desire to continue working with the elders and the people of Gowenu to promote the overall living conditions of the Villagers and to preach the Gospel.

Wherever the need may be, and under the direction of the Holy Spirit, I will continue to reach out and make a difference in a life, a village, a community, a neighborhood.
