What We're doing
 

We are currently involved in many projects for our brothers and sisters in the motherland, which will promote, enhance and enrich their lives. Here are some of our Projects:

  Current Projects
 
  1. We have constructed the school, daycare center and library and our most immediate need is toilet facilities to accommodate students and staff.
  2. The first well was dug which will supply Gowenu and its surrounding hamlets with the first supply of clean water.
  3. Seedlings and seeds were provided to the villagers to begin communal farming.
  4. In conjunction with the communal farming, two generators were provided to the farmers to aid in irrigation.
  5. We are seeking sponsorship to cover administrative costs for day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the school, inclusive of staff salaries.
  6. Uniforms, educational supplies and other school paraphernalia are presently supplied Loving Hands of Hope.
  7. Students will be provided with one meal daily.
  8. Preaching and teaching the Word of God.
  9. SOAP DRIVE.
  10. VITAMIN DRIVE.
  11. SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE.
  12. MILK DRIVE.
   
  Future Projects
 
  1. To expand the school to accommodate from Kindergarten through Grade 12, and other future expansion.
  2. Maintain and upgrade reading material in the library to include current editions/volumes.
  3. Build a large kitchen with a multi-purpose room to accommodate a clinic, meeting place and for other functions.
  4. To build and maintain a poultry farm; whereby providing employment for the villagers.  By products will be sold to hotels and direct vendors alike.
  5. To educate the farmers about entrepreneurship and how to reinvest their resources.
  6. To promote basic hygiene, and implement once-a-month check ups for mothers and families and educate and encourage healthy lifestyles.
  7. Establish a food program for the seniors and orphaned children.
  8. To acquire aid from the government to improve infrastructure along the main commuting roads to and from the village and seek subsidization for educational assistance.
  9. Build a clinic
